Scott is a geologist by trade. He has applied several tests and techniques to the Kensington Rune Stone (KRS) to determine various characteristics of its past. The results of those tests determine that the inscription is the right age for it to be authentic. He presented the results to several groups including the Smithsonian Institution. He also examined the findings of the original researchers.
The results of his experiences surrounding his investigation and the reactions to the evidence is the book "The Kensington Rune Stone: Compelling New Evidence" (with Dr. Richard Neilson). Although we can't show them on this radio program, the wealth of photographs in this book makes it a must have for anyone interested in KRS or Norse visitation.
